The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a different 5.5-inch display, which isn’t apparently only something to be present on the edge version. It also has a fixed Snapdragon 820 chip, making the latter strictly needed in some regions that only has the Exynos 8890 variant present. Another unique change is its camo-like body finish, which looks a bit clunky, but nevertheless interesting to say the least.
