Google Translate: How to Scan and Translate a Picture

Use the Google Translate website to translate your PDF file without downloading an app. You can upload a file, have the file’s contents translated, and then copy the translated text to your clipboard.

This technique prevents you from downloading your PDF’s translated version directly. The translated text can be manually copied, or you can use Chrome or Firefox to save the page as a PDF.

The latter won’t preserve your original PDF formatting. Furthermore, your PDF file must be 10 MB in size or less. Additionally, you can upload documents in the following formats: DOC, DOCX, ODF, PPT, PPTX, PS, RTF, TXT, XLS, and XLSX.
