In recent months, Nubia has released an upgraded version of its current flagship. Nubia’s Z40S Pro brings just a few essential updates over its February non-S variant (Nubia Z40 Pro).
With the Nubia Z40s Pro, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor instead of the Z40 Pro’s non-Plus chip. The cooling system is also more extensive and more efficient.
Charging has also been upgraded, with the 4,600mAh variant now having a 120W adapter, while the 5,000mAh variant now has an 80W adapter.
As for the remaining specifications, they remain the same.
It still comes with a 144Hz AMOLED screen, a 64-megapixel IMX787 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an optical image stabilization system. As a plus, it also comes with 6 LED flashes and a flicker sensor.
To make it look luscious, Nubia altered the layout of the camera on the back as well as the color options.
Besides black, there is now a Magic Green color and an anime-themed Spirit Cage variant with special accessories tied to the anime.
