Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has unveiled the 2022 Camry Hybrid in the country. It is the latest model in the company’s Hybrid Electric Vehicle lineup which runs on a hybrid engine that switches between its gasoline engine and hybrid-based battery.
At the front, the sedan has swept-back LED headlights with daytime running lights and a large grille. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, and the Camry measures 4,885mm in length, 1,840mm in width, and 1,445mm in height.
Moving inside, the new Camry is equipped with a 9-inch display that is compatible with Apple Carplay, and wireless charging for devices. It also has a 9-speaker JBL speaker system, and a blue push-to-start ignition button to match the badges on the outside.
The 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid is powered by a hybrid setup that utilizes a 176hp, 221Nm 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, and an electric motor. It has a 208hp total system output. In addition, it comes equipped with a 50-liter fuel tank.
Another feature of the sedan includes the latest version of Toyota Safety Sense with a pre-collision system, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beam. Furthermore, it also comes with a 360-degree-camera with front and rear parking sensors, and rear A/C vents.
The new 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Metal Stream Metallic, Attitude Black Mica color variants. Its price starts at PHP 2,335,000, and reservations start on December 11, 2021.
