Xiaomi is getting ready to unveil its upcoming flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 14, later this month.
What makes this release particularly interesting is that the Xiaomi 14 series will introduce the company’s proprietary HyperOS, departing from the usual MIUI.

A noteworthy feature of these forthcoming smartphones is the inclusion of Leica Summilux lenses, renowned for their exceptional image quality.
These lenses surpass the previous Leica Summicron lenses used in Xiaomi’s prior flagship phones, such as the Xiaomi 12 and 13 series and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra concept phone.
Leica’s own Leitz Phone 2 incorporates Summicron lenses, while Leica Summilux lenses have previously graced Huawei phones, signifying a strong partnership between the brands.
In addition to the camera upgrades, the new Xiaomi 14 devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Xiaomi is confidently asserting that the Xiaomi 14 series, equipped with Leica Summilux lenses, will provide the finest mobile imaging experience to date.
Alongside this camera enhancement, the Xiaomi 14 phones will feature a new image sensor, although specific details about which phone in the series will have this sensor are yet to be disclosed.
The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to encompass at least two models, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. And as we all know, if we follow their established pattern, Xiaomi is likely to introduce a Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the near future.
