Xiaomi has officially announced that they will be holding a launch event in China where a number of new products will be revealed. The event is said to be the Shenzhen Conference and is expected to be held by the end of this month.
This information was confirmed by Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO. He stated that Xiaomi will be hosting an event in Shanghai, China. In addition, a leaked image was spotted on the net which revealed that the company has already sold tickets for the Shenzhen Conference occurring this May 31, 2018.
The event was rumored to be expecting around 5,000 guests. Along with the new products believed to be launched during the event, rumors say that the company might launch the Mi 8th Anniversary smartphone. Xiaomi might also formally announce the following devices – Mi 7, Mi Band 3 Fitness Tracker, and Mi Max 3.
As of now, Xiaomi’s CEO has not confirmed the official date for the event. The details mentioned above are all just rumors for now. We’ll have to wait for the company’s official announcement to know for sure.
