The wait is finally over!
Mi Philippines recently teased the arrival of its most-awaited budget smartphone a week ago. Now, Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi Note 5 in the Philippines.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is also expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It runs on Android Nougat with MIUI 9.
It comes with a 12MP f/1.9 and 5MP f/2.0 rear cameras with LED Flash and a 13MP front camera. It also packs a 4000mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 5 was launched last March in China with a price tag CNY 1699 for the 6GB variant, which is around PHP 14,000 when directly converted. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 variant is priced at PHP 11.990 and will be available in the Mi store and Lazada store on May 15, 2018.
