Xiaomi has officially launched the top-of-the-line smartphone under the Redmi K70 series in China, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Ultra.
The Redmi K70 ultra boasts a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz ultra high frequency PWM dimming, 1600 nits (HBM), 4000 nits (peak) brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Xiaomi Shield Glass protection.
It has an independent Discrete Graphics D1 chip offering 144FPS ultra-high frame rate for the display and gaming.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s flagship 4nm 3.25GHz Dimensity 9300+ octa-core chipset with Immortalis-G720 GPU, up to 24GB LPPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Battery is rated at 5,500mAh capacity with 120W fast charging that is said to charge up to 100% in 24 minutes. Ensuring the battery health are the Surge P1 charging chip and Surge G1 self-developed battery management chip.
Keeping the heat in check are the 3D Ice Cycle Cold Pump and 5000m² ultra-large 3D concave-convex platform.
At the back, it sports a triple camera configuration with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, there’s a 20MP selfie camera.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is available in Black, Snow White and Ice Blue colorways. Meanwhile, there’s a Supreme Championship Edition variant in collaboration with Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 racing car that comes in Orange and Green colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi K70 Ultra is now available in China. No word yet for local availability.
