Xiaomi will officially launch the Xiaomi Redmi 6 smartphone tomorrow, June 12, 2018. Prior to its launch, Lin Bin, Xiaomi’s president, has posted a new poster of the device showing us some of its design.

The photo looked really similar to the Redmi 6A’s photo in TENAA. As shown in the photo, the Redmi 6 won’t be featuring the infamous notch. Unfortunately, the smartphone has thick bezels at the top and bottom. In addition, the photo reveals that the Redmi 6 has a front camera along with an LED flash and an earpiece/speaker. The volume rockers, as well as the power button, are then located on the right side of the phone.
Speculations have stated that the Xiaomi Redmi 6 might include a rear-mounted fingerprint and a face unlock feature.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 will feature a 5.45″ HD+ display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 with eight Cortex A53 cores clocked up to 2.0GHz. The device will also run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6A and the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 6.
