Just a week ago, pictures of Xiaomi Mi Mix Mini/Nano were leaked and it even includes the side-by-side comparison to its original variant, the Xiaomi Mi Mix. See related link below
Unfortunately, this is not true. According to Xiaomi’s marketing director, Zang Zhiyuan, he cited in Weibo that “there’s no such product as Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano”.
So it appears that owning a cheaper device with the same build of the Xiaomi Mi Mix is nowhere near to possibility.
This is highly likely since Xiaomi Mi Mix is introduced as a ‘concept phone’ and limited to China only to see how consumers will accept it.
Maybe, just maybe, we could see a smaller version of it since it has received a lot of positive reviews from the audience.
