The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is rumored to release an upgraded version of its Mi Mix 2 this 2018. It’s rumored to launch before the Mobile World Congress 2018. Today, a new report from China claims that the handset will also be the first model by the company to come with a Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Qualcomm and Xiaomi announced their partnership on the latest Snapdragon last month, and everyone expected that the Mi 7 would be the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 845 chipset. However, the Mi 7 flagship won’t be launched at MWC 2018.
According to the latest report by Chinese tech blog IT168, the Mi Mix 2s won’t be just the first smartphone with that chipset but also feature an upgraded camera over the one available on the Mi MIX 2.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is expected to come with the same full-screen bezel-less design as the Mi Mix 2 as well as an 18:9 aspect ratio.
