The race for the best foldable and flexible smartphone has started with Samsung recently introducing its Galaxy F prototype. Now, it appears Xiaomi is also working on a foldable hybrid tablet and smartphone under the Mi brand and could likely become available in 2019.
The leaked video appears to show a dual folding Mi smartphone unlike on the single folding of the Galaxy F foldable and the Chinese Royole Flexpai. It runs on a MIUI but in a wide format while apps are also supported in different folding level.

In terms of launch details, there is no definite date on when we could see it officially and consumer ready. Also, the name could change with a new branding once official.
