Among the Mi 8 lineup, the Mi 8 Explorer Edition was launched with high-end specifications as compared with Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE. Released only in mainland China, the Explorer Edition is set to make its international debut.
The said device was spotted on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) with the same model number to Explorer Edition, Xiaomi M1807E8A which will be called as Mi 8 Pro.
As for the specs, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition features 6.21-inch Super AMOLED Display, 83.8% screen-to-body ratio, and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 that runs Android 8.1 Oreo and packed with 3000 mAh battery.
Going to the camera department, it sports a dual 12MP + 12MP rear camera paired with 20MP front-facing camera.
