Robots are no longer science fiction. Since they have been around for a while, humanoid robots are now slowly making their way into the general public owing to companies like Xiaomi, who just unveiled the CyberOne.
The Xiaomi CyberOne is the most astounding humanoid robot that we have ever seen thanks to its superior arms and legs, bipedal-motion posture balancing, max torque of 300Nm, and other intelligent features.
The robot can even recognize human emotions thanks to its sophisticated visual abilities. Additionally, it contains a feature that enables the development of a three-dimensional virtual replica of the real environment. These are only a few of this humanoid’s cutting-edge technological capabilities.
Xiaomi bragged that its own robotics lab was responsible for developing CyberOne’s AI and mechanical features. Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, stated that the company has substantially invested in R&D across a number of fields, including hardware, software, and algorithm development for robot development.
CyberOne has an arm length of 168cm, is 52kg in weight, and is 5 feet 8 inches (177cm) tall.
This robot is supposed to be more mechanically sophisticated, require more powerful motors, have more degrees of freedom, and have a complex humanoid biped control algorithm compared to last year’s CyberDog, which was a quadruped robot.
CyberOne uses a Mi-Sense depth vision module and an AI interaction algorithm to assess its surroundings. This enables the robot to comprehend 3D objects, individuals, gestures, and facial expressions.
Additionally, it contains unique AI algorithms that enable it to detect human emotions and identify 85 different types of environmental sounds.
