
Xiaomi has officially confirmed a major product launch event in China on May 22, 2025. The company is expected to introduce the 15S Pro smartphone and the Pad 7 Ultra tablet, aside from other products.
Xiaomi 15S Pro
The 15S Pro is expected to retain the design of the 15 Pro, featuring a 6.73-inch 2K quad-curved LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Other possible specs include a 6100mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. For optics, it will offer a Leica-branded triple camera setup with 50MP sensors and a 10x periscope lens.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra
Meanwhile, the Pad 7 Ultra is rumored to have a 14-inch OLED screen and 3D facial recognition.
The tablet is also expected to support 120W fast charging.
Both devices will be the first to feature the newly developed Xring O1 chip. According to the CEO Lei Jun, the chip has now entered mass production.
Early benchmarks show the chip delivers flagship-level performance, with Geekbench scores of 3119 in single-core and 9673 in multi-core tests. It also includes a 10-core architecture and an Immortalis-G925 GPU.
With that being said, both the 15S Pro and Pad 7 Ultra will be the company’s first devices to run on the Xring O1 chip.
