Soundcore has officially launched its rugged outdoor speaker in the Philippines, the Soundcore Boom 3i.
One of the main highlights of the Soundcore Boom 3i is its durability. The speaker comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and it can withstand concrete drops of up to 1 meter. It also offers saltwater resistance, five times the industry standard, and has undergone corrosion testing for up to 2400 hours of salt spray. Additionally, the company promises that the speaker is corrosion-free for up to 2 years of outdoor use.
The Boom 3i sports a floatable design that auto-corrects to remain upright and maintain forward-facing sound even in rough water conditions. It is available in Jungle Green, Deep Ocean Blue, and Adventurer Black colors.
In terms of sound, the device is equipped with two bass radiators, a 10W, 0.65-inch tweeter, and a 40W, 3.7 x 2-inch woofer. Bass output can be increased 3dB through the BassUp 2.0 technology. Additionally, the bass radiators on the left and right sides of the unit have an LED light show that can be programmed by the user.
Users can personalize and enhance the Boom 3i with smart tools through the Soundcore app. A 96 dB emergency alarm can be activated by holding down the BassUp button for five seconds. There’s also a voice amplifier for quick broadcasting, as well as a Buzz Clean feature that shakes off dust and debris.
The Boom 3i supports Bluetooth 5.3 with TWS capabilities. Battery life is rated for up to 16 hours of playback. It measures 8.27 × 3.35 × 3.09 in and weighs 780g.
The box contains the Soundcore Boom 3i, along with a detachable strap, a 0.6m USB-C to C cable, and a quick start guide.
The Soundcore Boom 3i is priced at PHP 5,995 and is now available through Soundcore’s official website, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
