X has introduced new daily posting limits for some users.
Free users are now limited to 50 posts and 200 replies per day. Previously, X allowed up to 2,400 posts or reposts daily.
The company said the changes are meant to reduce system strain and help prevent downtime and error pages.
Other limits on the platform remain unchanged. Users can still send up to 500 direct messages daily and follow up to 400 accounts per day.
If users reach the new limits, X will display an error message.
