According to an insider from Android Headlines, HTC will not unveil any new flagship at the Mobile World Congress next month. It was also reported that the Taiwanese company will be holding a separate event after the MWC in Barcelona and will probably introduce the HTC U12.

We got a leaked image of the new flagship on the first week of 2018. The leaked render shows that it will come with 18:9 aspect ratio display just like the U11 and U11+. It can be seen from the photo that the screen will be surrounded by thin bezels and there’s a selfie camera located on the top. The volume buttons and the power button are located on the right edge of the phone. It also seems to support USB type C.
There are rumors that the HTC U12 would be equipped with a 4K display. In addition, the new U series smartphone is rumored to feature a metal and glass combination chassis. Also, it will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset, it will also sport a dual rear camera.
