
Xiaomi has announced the availability of their new wearable products in the Philippines, the Xiaomi Watch 5 and REDMI Buds 8 Pro.
The smartwatch features a 1.54-inch display protected by sapphire glass and is housed in a stainless-steel frame.

Health and fitness features include one-tap health checks, workout tracking, and dual-band GNSS for outdoor positioning. It also supports gesture controls and cross-device features through Xiaomi HyperConnect.
It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform paired with a BES2800 low-power co-processor.
Xiaomi claims up to 6 days of battery life in Smart Mode and up to 18 days in Power Saver Mode.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 runs on Wear OS 6 and supports Google apps, including Google Calendar, Google Maps, and Google Wallet, which features NFC for contactless payments. It also comes with Google Gemini built in for voice assistance.
On the other hand, the REDMI Buds 8 Pro features a coaxial triple-driver setup and supports Dolby Audio.
It offers up to 55dB active noise cancellation and includes adaptive noise reduction.

Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours on a single charge and up to 33 hours with the charging case. Fast charging provides up to 2 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 is priced at PHP 18,999 (SRP) in the Philippines.
The REDMI Buds 8 Pro retails for PHP 3,999 (SRP) in the Philippines.
