vivo has confirmed that its X500 series will launch in China in September, with three models planned.
The upcoming series will include the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, skipping the X400 name.
According to vivo’s official photo teaser, the series will feature a ZEISS Super Dynamic main camera. It will use the BluePrint Guangyu 900 sensor, which offers up to 17EV of dynamic range for improved detail in high-contrast scenes, including backlit conditions.
For stabilization, the X500 Pro series will support 3° OIS, with the X500 Pro Max specifically listed with the feature. It will also include CIPA 7.0 professional stabilization.
On the video side, the series will support 4K recording at 240fps and 4K 120fps HDR video. These features are aimed at improving slow-motion recording and maintaining more detail in challenging lighting conditions.
vivo is expected to reveal more details about the X500 series ahead of its September launch in China.
