The vivo V80 Lite has set a Guinness World Records title after completing a continuous livestream lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes.
The record attempt took place on August 11, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. According to vivo, the livestream earned the title of “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream.”
The V80 Lite remained operational throughout the livestream, which continued through both day and night.
Southeast Asian creators join the livestream
The livestream featured creators from Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
The participating creators were Tang Makkaporn from Thailand, Aedy Ashraf from Malaysia, Vince Domingo of Unbox Diaries from the Philippines, and Tuấn Ngọc from Vietnam.
During the challenge, the creators also used the V80 Lite for activities such as navigation, photography, gaming, and calls.
V80 Lite coming to the Philippines
The record comes ahead of the V80 Lite’s Philippine launch. The smartphone is set to feature vivo’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, which the company says is its largest battery capacity globally.
The vivo V80 Lite will officially launch in the Philippines on October 4, 2026, at Market! Market! by Ayala Malls.
More details, including local pricing and availability, are expected to be announced during the launch.
