Vivo just released its latest mid-range 5G units with the V series. This formally launches the Vivo V21 and V21e.
These phones have some of their similarities such as in the camera department where they share a 44MP autofocus camera, 4K recording, Night Portrait, Super Night Selfie. When it comes to differences, the V21 will be having OIS or Optical Image Stabilization and Dual Selfie Spotlight, and dual-LED flash on the front.
As for screens, both phones will be sporting a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED although the V21 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate. These two smartphones also differ in chipsets. The V21 will be using a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor while the Vivo V21e will utilize a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. Both phones will come in 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD.
As for battery capacity, these phones will feature a 4,000mAh capacity which is supported by 33W fast charging. Also, both units will use FunTouch 11.1, an Android 11-based operating system.
The Vivo V21 will be available in Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue. This will be priced at 1,599 Malaysian Ringgit (₱18,870 est.) and will go on sale on May 5 in Malaysia. The 5G version will be available in more markets and would be launched on April 29.
As for the V21e, this will come in Diamond Flare and Roman Black and will have a price tag of 1,299 Malaysian Ringgit (₱15,345 est.). This will also launch in Malaysia on May 5, 2021.
