Launching in gold and rose gold or pink, the Vivo Philippines has launched the black color option for the Vivo 5s, its mid-range selfie shooter. This launch comes on the heels of Oppo F3 Black Edition which was launched a week ago.

For starters, the Vivo 5s features a 5.5-inch display in unimpressive HD resolution, octa-core Mediatek processor, 4GB RAM, and 13MP main camera. But the highlight of the device is 20MP selfie camera which takes up to 1080p video and quite decent quality thru its f2.0 aperture.
Compared to the gold variants of the Vivo 5s, the Chinese brand promises of better connectivity with its questionable “5G” network labeling which is commercially not ready for consumers until a couple of years. Nonetheless, the Vivo 5s looks more classic over the two color options.
The Vivo 5s in matte black is available in Vivo stores nationwide with the same price of P14,990 pesos as to the other variants.
