As part of a new promotion by Viber, Filipino Viber users can make unlimited outgoing calls to a landline or mobile number for the first 30 minutes of each month.
As opposed to the Viber Out premium service, which was previously $5.99/month (₱330 as of July 2022), this new offer will help people stay in touch with their loved ones, even when they do not have an internet connection.
Nevertheless, Viber’s service is not only limited to the Philippines, as it is available in more than 60 countries around the world in total.
Having access to mobile data for 30 minutes may not seem like much, but in times of emergency or when they don’t have access to mobile data, it will prove helpful for many people.
In addition to the Philippines, other countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Kuwait will be among the first to receive the freebies. Do not fret! Because in the future, other regions will be able to access the service as well.
