In the recently concluded Flare Selfie VS Zenfone Selfie battle, we were able to determine that both devices were almost identical in a lot of ways, however, we were able to determine that the Flare Selfie is the better option on both devices. A more affordable price tag
Thanks to an almost Php4K price difference, the Cherry Mobile Flare Selfie‘s better pricing makes it a better choice for  the budget-weary. The Php8K handset was somewhat almost at par with the Php12K Zenfone Selfie, making the Flare Selfie an overall better pick for a selfie handset.
Classier and more premium design
The Flare Selfie is one of those rare local handsets that dishes out premium-like design, which is always a good thing. The Flare Selfie’s glossy plastic back and rounded metal frame make it a flagship-worthy design, with top notch specs to back it up. Adding to this is the smaller Flare Selfie’s portability, making it easier to handle and easier to take pictures with.
Pretty decent camera performance
Despite being relatively cheaper than the Zenfone Selfie, the Flare Selfie was able to set itself up with Asus’ camera-heavy handset. It was able to shoot great outputs and was able to par with Zenfone Selfie’s outputs at certain shots. On our review, the camera department was a very fiery round, thanks to the very close fight between the two, which means, the budget-wise Flare Selfie is no pushover device.
A Faster system
On the benchmark and performance category of our review comparison, we highlighted that the Flare Selfie’s MediaTek MT6753 chip was seen to be faster than the Snapdragon 615 of the Zenfone Selfie. With this, though, we confirmed that the Flare Selfie’s more up-to-date specs in hand showed better performance prowess.
Brighter display
On the display department, we highlighted that despite the Zenfone Selfie being relatively better in display in general, the Flare Selfie was still able to bring out a brighter display overall. With this, the Flare Selfie’s bright display was almost enough to bring it to a tie, though thanks to Zenfone Selfie’s greater display quality, the round was given on the latter.
