In addition to making money from internet distribution, TGBI will also make money from the distribution to private entities.’

The TBGI is also set to participate in bidding for the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) Php1.6 billion nationwide internet service project.

It was announced that TGBIs intention is to form a joint venture or consortium with entities that would be able to supply the DICTs with the necessary bandwidth.

To ensure compliance with the permission granting telecom services in the country, the company will also provide its franchise as part of the bid requirements.

More importantly, the board of the TGBI approved a Php100 million budget for Internet-of-Things solutions in various industries in the Philippines.
