TECNO officially introduced the fifth edition of its Future Lens event this month.
The brand has introduced two new telephoto systems. The Dual-Mirror Reflect Telephoto uses a coaxial optical design. It is 50% smaller than traditional modules, allowing it to fit in slim devices.

It also creates a distinctive “doughnut-shaped” bokeh effect and performs well in low-light conditions.
On the other hand, the Freeform Continuum Telephoto offers continuous optical zoom from 1x to 9x without digital cropping, producing transitions between focal lengths and maintaining image clarity.

The company highlighted its TECNO Image Matrix (TIM) system, which combines AI-enhanced optics, computational algorithms, and AI-assisted controls.
TIM aims to understand the user’s intent, subject features, and emotional tone, while supporting TECNO’s Universal Tone system for accurate skin-tone reproduction.
