TECNO has officially launched its latest smartphone under the Curve series in India, the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G.
The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G sports a Starship-inspired design with an asymmetrical triangular camera module at the back. The brand claims that it is one of the slimmest 3D curved display smartphones in its segment with an 8,000mAh battery capacity, while having a 7.42mm slim profile and weighing 195 grams.
At the front, it flaunts a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2644 × 1208) 3D curved AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, 2304Hz PWM Dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Powering it inside is the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 octa-core processor with Mali-G610 GPU, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM (with up to 8GB Virtual RAM) and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Its massive 8,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging.
Camera-wise, the POVA Curve 2 5G is equipped with a 50MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The device has SGS 5-Star drop resistance and comes with IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance.
Connectivity features include a G1 signal enhancement chip with improved mobile signal, an SE1 Wi-Fi enhancement chip with stronger Wi-Fi connection, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Other features include a new all-scenario AI Noise Reduction, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, a bottom-ported single speaker, Dolby Atmos support, and dual microphones.
The smartphone runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16 with ELLA AI 2.0 support.
Available colors are: Melting Silver, Storm Titanium, and Mystic Purple.
The TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G is priced starting at INR 27,999 (~PHP 17,878) for the 8GB + 128GB model and INR 29,999 (~PHP 19,156) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It is now available to pre-order and will go on sale starting February 20 in India.
