TECNO has unveiled the CAMON Slim 5G in the Philippines, revealing its specifications before its official launch on October 1.
According to TECNO, the CAMON Slim 5G has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the CAMON Slim 5G uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, OIS, EIS, and AI Shutter. It also supports 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm focal lengths for portraits, as well as up to 2x telephoto shooting.
TECNO also introduced Super-Zoom FlashSnap, which can automatically capture moments without manually pressing the shutter. The feature supports shutter speeds of up to 1/11236 second.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset. It packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 protection ratings, along with MIL-STD-810 certification.
The phone includes AI tools such as AI LightMaster 2.0, AI Snap Poster, AI Pet Together, AI Recording Notes, AI Class Schedule, and AI Healthy Eating. Availability of some AI features may vary by market.
The CAMON Slim 5G comes in Burgundy Red, Neo Mondrian, Matisse Black, Van Gogh Blue, and Rebel Pink.
TECNO is also launching the TECNO Mag Badge, a magnetic accessory with a 1.73-inch AMOLED display. It can function as a photo gallery, remote shutter, and selfie preview screen.
The company says the CAMON Slim 5G will receive five years of security updates and three major OS upgrades.
