TCL launched its latest gaming monitor in China—the TCL Thunderbird F6. Check it out!
The TCL Thunderbird F6 sports a futuristic look with a neutral gray finish. It flaunts a 24.5-inch fast IPS panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 × 1080. It boasts a 300Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time which minimizes motion blur and ghosting, suitable for competitive gaming.
It also comes with Quantum Dot technology for vibrant and accurate colors; it covers 97% of the DCI-P3 gamut and 99% of sRGB. There’s also adaptive sync which supports both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync, significantly eliminating screen tearing and stuttering.
The gaming monitor integrates a MiniLED backlight system, which features 180 local dimming zones and 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC). This pushes the contrast even further achieving a 1,000,000:1 dynamic ratio for striking highlights and deep blacks.
Moreover, it has a peak brightness of 600 nits, HDR 600 certification, and TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. It also uses a 10KHz PWM dimming system to further reduce flicker.
For connectivity, the monitor comes with two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio jack.
Flexibility is also not a problem because the Thunderbird F6 offers -5 to 15 degrees of tilt, up to 125mm height adjustment, ±20 degrees horizontal swivel, and ±90 degrees full vertical rotation.
The TCL Thunderbird F6 is priced at CNY 999 (~PHP 7,945), which is affordable considering the specs it gives. It is now available in China, but local availability details are yet to be revealed.
