Apple has announced a new lineup of external monitors designed for Mac users, which includes the Apple Studio Display and the new Apple Studio Display XDR.
The Studio Display features a 27-inch 5K Retina panel with a resolution of 5120 × 2880. The XDR monitor offers the same size and resolution, but it uses a mini-LED backlight system with 2,304 local dimming zones.
The panel supports up to 1000 nits of SDR brightness and up to 2000 nits of peak HDR brightness, with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It also supports both P3 and Adobe RGB color gamuts.

The display includes a 120Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync, which dynamically adjusts the refresh rate between 47Hz and 120Hz depending on the content.
Both monitors include a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View support, a three-microphone array, and a six-speaker audio system with Spatial Audio.
They also come with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity and two USB-C ports.
The display ships with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand with a 105mm height range. A VESA mount adapter is available for users who prefer third-party monitor arms or mounts.

Both displays are available with either standard glass or an optional nano-texture glass finish designed to reduce glare.

The Apple Studio Display and Apple Studio Display XDR are now available for pre-order on Apple’s website in the Philippines. Official sales start on March 11, 2026.
