Spotify has added support for Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent.
Muse is an AI agent designed to perform tasks on a user’s behalf instead of only answering questions. It can work across connected apps, create plans, and carry out tasks based on a user’s instructions.
With the Spotify integration, users can ask Muse to play music, podcasts, and audiobooks, queue content, save songs to their Library, and create playlists.
Muse can also help users discover new music and add songs to existing playlists. Users can ask it to create a new playlist based on a specific activity or idea, such as a road trip or workout.
The integration also supports scheduling. For example, users can ask Muse to start a workout playlist at a specific time or play a focus playlist during a scheduled work session.
Spotify says Muse can also be used to create a Personal Podcast from daily briefings, notes, and ideas, with the resulting audio saved to the user’s Spotify Library.
To connect Spotify with Muse, users can go to Muse’s website and link their Spotify account.
Meta says Muse is currently rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and the web.
