
Sony is back in the smartphone market after almost a year. The brand has officially launched the Sony Xperia 1 VII in Europe.
The Xperia 1 VII features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
For cameras, the rear optics includes a new 48MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP telephoto. On the front, it offers 12MP selfie camera
Under the hood, it is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
It still uses a 5,000mAh battery, and supports 30W wired, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless.
Out of the box, it runs on the latest Android 15. Sony promises four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.
The Sony Xperia 1 VII is now official in Europe. The device comes with a price tag of EUR1,499 (approx. PHP92,799) in Europe.
