Sony to Unveil Xperia 1 VIII on May 13

Sony has confirmed that it will announce its next flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia 1 VIII, this May 2026.

The company has released a short teaser ahead of the launch. However, it did not reveal full specifications.

Based on early reports, the Xperia 1 VIII might include a revised camera system with a telephoto sensor, a 16mm ultrawide lens, and a 24mm main camera.
