First off, if you haven’t yet, make sure to maximize your Sony phone experience through this particular feature. You can activate STAMINA mode via Settings on your phone, then press Battery and hover towards STAMINA mode. You can then customize the battery consumption level by activating it.
The update is still in Beta and isn’t a full pledged release yet, though it is expected to make its way sometime next month or the next. However, with all set and done, people who have tried out the Beta STAMINA mode have complained that it’s not as efficient as it used to be.
The reason could be that Google’s very own battery saving mode, Doze mode is a mandatory feature for Android Marshmallow and therefore limits the capability of Sony’s STAMINA mode.
What do you guys think? Can Sony bring back the original and beloved feature at its glory? Or does Sony smartphone users have to get used to the limited capability of the new STAMINA mode? Share us your thoughts in the comment section below. We’d love to hear from you
