The STAMINA mode is Sony’s staple, energy saving feature that is automatically enabled and can’t be turned off. It simply minimizes activities, which generate less energy consumption when the phone’s screen is off. This feature also restricts background apps, which will eventually heighten your phone’s battery longevity.

Android Marshmallow’s “Doze mode” is quite similar to this in all manners, so Sony might see that the Stamina Mode won’t be necessary for an update. What do you guys think? Is “Doze mode” better than STAMINA mode in some ways? Share us your comments. We’d love to hear from you guys.

    GIVE US BACK ULTRA STAMINA!!!!!!!
The mode which turend Xperias into a proper phone ( bit dumb one but with battery lasting a week or more). It was a simpe way of switching off all the apps crap with one button. 24 hour after update and my Z5C already lost more than 30% of battery!
