Sony has recently announced that they have set up a company “ForwardWorks”, which will focus on making “game titles” under the Sony banner that are specifically focused on smart devices.

Currently, there isn’t any information on the company’s titles or even if they’re already in the works. Though, some news indicates that ForwardWorks are currently focused on dishing out smartphone games for the Japanese and Asian market though it’ll expand to the west sometime after their games’ release.
With Sony diving in the mobile game warfare, it is expected that some big names in the gaming and tech industries are soon to follow, wherein Nintendo themselves already took the initiative and introduced the “Miitomo” app.
