Sony recently announced the pricing and availability of the BRAVIA X80K smart TV in the Philippines.
For specs, it comes in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch size variants. The smart TV boasts the TRILUMINOS PRO technology and Sony’s 4K UHD X1 processor that can deliver great contrast, brightness, HDR, and color accuracy. With its 4K X-Reality PRO technology, content in 2K or 1080p resolution can be upscaled to 4K.
In terms of audio, it has two 10W speakers and Sony’s X-Balanced speakers with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology for better audio and video processing and to enhance immersion during the viewing sessions.
Because it is a smart TV, the Bravia X80K runs Google TV with support for Google Assistant for voice commands. The TV also works with the optional Bravia Cam that can be used for family video conferencing and whatnot.
For sensors, it comes with a light sensor, acoustic auto-calibration, and BRAVIA CAM that supports gesture controls and video conferences including Google Duo.
For connectivity, it supports dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Apple AirPlay and Home Kit, 4x HDMI input, HDCP 2.3, and eARC/ALLM. The backlight control on the smart TV is claimed to consume less power. There’s also 16GB of onboard storage.
Additionally, Sony used recycled plastics for the bezels of the Barviam X80K, which is in line with the company’s efforts to lessen waste.

The 65-inch and 75-inch models have no price yet. All of the models will come in Q2 2022 via authorized Sony Dealers nationwide.
