Last week, Sony announced its best camera system yet for the US. It’s already up for sale with a price tag of $6,500(~Php312,000) for the body alone. On the other hand, Sony Philippines confirmed that it’s planning to bring the Alpha 1 in the country very soon. However, you don’t have to wait any longer for an official announcement from them as a local retailer has already put up a pre-order listing for Sony’s full-frame camera system.
According to the post of i-Click Digishop, Sony Alpha 1 comes at a price of Php319,900. Unlike in the US, you’re getting a free NP-FZ100 CEA-G160T Peak Design Strap Gox bag, though you have to wait until March 27 for the camera to ship out.
Sony Alpha 1 features the company’s new 50.1MP Exmor RS Sensor, capable of recording 8K@30fps without overheating. You can learn more about it below.
