Sony officially announces the Alpha 7R VI, a full-frame mirrorless camera.
The camera features a 66.8-megapixel stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR2 image processor with an integrated AI unit.
It also offers up to 30 frames per second with autofocus and auto exposure tracking. It also supports blackout-free burst shooting and enhanced real-time subject recognition autofocus.
For video, the Alpha 7R VI supports up to 8K 30p and 4K 120p recording, along with multiple Full HD and 2K formats. It includes dual card slots compatible with SD UHS-II and CFexpress Type A.
Sony lists improved autofocus with up to 759 phase-detection points, expanded ISO range up to 102,400 (still images), and an upgraded battery system. The electronic viewfinder features 9.44-million-dot resolution.
In the Philippines, the Sony Alpha 7R VI is priced at PHP273,999 SRP.
