Japanese firm Sharp earlier announced its latest flagship smartphone called the Sharp Aquos R7. It is the successor to last year’s Aquos R6 flagship smartphone.
For specs, it sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Pro IGZO OLED panel with a 240Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, 10bit color support, Dolby Vision, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, it comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C fast charging. The charging speed is unspecified.
For photography, the Aquos R7 boasts a large 47MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor size, 19mm focal length, and a seven-element Leica Summicron lens. Sharp claims that the sensor can collect up to 1.8 times more light than its predecessor. The main sensor is paired with a 1.9MP portrait lens.
