Samsung W22 5G foldable smartphone goes official in China


Samsung has announced a foldable smartphone exclusive in China, the Samsung W22 5G.

The Samsung W22 5G is a partnership between China Telecom and Samsung to bring a custom version of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G only exclusive for China. Even though it is identical to the Galaxy Fold3, the W22 5G doesn’t include Google Mobile Services, and they come preloaded with region-specific apps.

The Samsung W22 5G is priced at CNY 16,999 (~PHP 133,762). It is now available for pre-order in China on the official Samsung website and shipments will start on October 22.
