
Samsung is reportedly planning to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in all its Galaxy S25 models and will continue this approach with the Galaxy S26 series.
According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung won’t bring back its own Exynos processors until the Galaxy S27, expected in 2027.
Also, according to Jukanlosreve on X, Samsung is developing a new Exynos chip, codenamed “Ulysses,” which will be built on their 2nm technology (SF2P) and is set to be introduced in the Galaxy S27.
As for the upcoming Galaxy S25 phones, the devices will exclusively feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) processor, according to industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The newest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset offers 45% boost in performance and 44% improved power efficiency compared to previous models.
