Samsung has released two new rugged devices on the market, the Galaxy XCover7 smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active5.
For specs, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 features a MIL-STD-810H rugged rating, up to 1.5m drop-to-concrete resistance, and up to 1.5m for 35 min IP68 dust/water resistance.
It flaunts a 6.6-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2408) TFT LCD panel with a base 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It is powered by an unnamed 6nm octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,050mAh battery with 15W charging.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 also boasts a MIL-STD-810H rugged rating, up to 1.5m drop-to-concrete resistance, and up to 1.5m for 35 min IP68 dust/water resistance.
Other features of the Tab Active5 include an 8-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) TFT LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 5nm octa-core processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, S-Pen support, and 5,050mAh battery.
