Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date, confirmed
Mark your calendar as Samsung Galaxy S8 release date has been confirmed for March 29 in New York City. But that’s not all.
While LG and Huawei took the curtain off for each own’s flagship device, the LG G6 and Huawei P10, Samsung on the other end of the room showed a video teaser for its own flagship smartphone.
“Unbox your phone”
The video points out that our usual squarish smartphone is about to change with the Galaxy S8. The “unbox your phone” tagline at the end, according to Samsung, “represents the start of a new era, by reshaping the device that has over the years become an indispensable tool in our everyday lives”.
They are not really going LG G6 on this one but rather, expanding the screen on all sides leaving almost no room at the top and bottom portion while curving the sides of the entire screen.

The recent acquisition of Harman International paves the way for a bundled pair of AKG earphones for the next smartphones, wherein Samsung confirmed in its own press conference.
No other hints were dropped by the company but the rumor mill suggests that the 5.8-inch screen of the base model, as well as the 6.2-inch of the Galaxy S8+, are going to sport a dual-edge curved display.
