
The long wait is over as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was officially launched today. The smartphone that serves as a redemption for the Note 7 incident comes with dual cameras and more. Let us walk you through the brief intro of the device.
The Galaxy Note 8 known to be Samsung’s 2017 flagship phablet boasts a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,960×1,440-pixel resolution. Sporting Snapdragon 835, the device offers 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM. In terms of battery, Samsung assured that there will be no more accidents since the Note 8’s 3,300mAh underwent an 8-point battery safety check.
Of course, dual cameras will not be missed. The Galaxy Note 8 features dual 12MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie shooter. The dual rear 12MP setup features 2x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, F2.4 telephoto lens, F1.7 wide-angle lens and OIS (Dual OIS). The Note 8 also introduces Live Message, which wouldn’t be found in S8 models.

Nonetheless, Samsung Galaxy Note 8’s local price will be PHP 49,990. Speaking of release, the Galaxy Note 8 is up for pre-orders starting September 8-17 and would allow users to get a free AKG speaker. Local store release will begin on September 29.
