Which is a better buy between the Samsung Galaxy A6s and Vivo Y89?
Design-wise, the Vivo Y89 shouts better design despite the existence of the notch. While there’s no notch on the Samsung Galaxy A6s, it looks like a phone from two years ago.
We rarely see a Super AMOLED at this price point so having it on the Galaxy A6s should entice more consumers with its saturated colors and deep blacks.
Both are capable daily drivers but expect slightly better gaming performance out of the Snapdragon 660 of Samsung’s handset.
Not much can be said with the camera performance as they are closely spec’d with each other. Although, the Galaxy A6s can go up to 4K resolution of video recording.
In terms of connectivity, Samsung is prepared for 2019 as it features BT 5.0 and a USB Type-C port.
The Vivo Y89 is expected at P12k while the Samsung Galaxy A6s is priced at P13,990. It’s going to be a compromise between the two. Functionally, Samsung’s handset comes out on top while value will go to Vivo’s.
