A mid-range chip for the taking
Samsung has recently introduced a whole new processor under the Exynos belt, which is said to be wholly focused on upcoming mid-range devices. This new Exynos chip will be known as the Exynos 7 Octa 7870. Let’s find out more about this mid-range phenomenon chip and all its gotta offer.
Samsung built the Exynos 7870 with a 14nm process on the chipset will make it more power efficient, which is said to consume over 30 percent less power. Aside from being relatively power efficient, the Exynos 7870Â packs eight 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 cores in the house and supports Cat.6 2CA modem that can handle 300Mbps downloads. The chipset can also keep up with a 1080p video recording feature and two 16MP camera pairing.
