Samsung has unveiled its latest monitor in the ViewFinity S8 lineup, a 37-inch model, marking the first-ever monitor of this size. It joins the currently available 32-inch and 43-inch models in the series.
The 37-inch ViewFinity S8 model features a 16:9 aspect ratio and a UHD resolution. It is TÜV Reinland-certified with an Intelligent Eye Care feature that minimizes blue light and flicker.
Samsung also added a built-in keyboard, video, and mouse switch, allowing users to use two devices simultaneously with a single set of peripherals. For multitasking, it comes with picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture.
Connectivity features include a USB-C port, which offers 90W charging, and a built-in LAN port. In addition, it comes with an Easy Setup Stand that is advertised to require only about 10 seconds for installation. It is height-adjustable and has tilt and swivel functions.
Aside from its productivity-focused monitors, Samsung also expanded the 37-inch monitor category into the gaming market with the new Odyssey G7, which comes with 1000R curvature, 4K UHD resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms (GTG) response time.
