The REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ has been officially unveiled in China, bringing in powerful specs and new features. Check it out!
The REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ retains the mecha aesthetic and flat rear profile while also adding an extra transparent panel for the cooling system. Speaking of the cooling system, the device boasts an integrated dual-ring water cooling loop system with RGB lighting in the central ring. It works alongside an IPX8-rated internal fan with up to 25,500 RPM to keep the heat in check.
Under the hood, the device runs on a dual-chip configuration, leveraging the latest 2nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 octa-core processor and the brand’s proprietary Red Core R5 co-processor. It comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage, while also packing a large 8,400mAh battery capacity with 120W fast charging and 80W wireless charging support.
On the front, the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ sports a 6.85-inch BOE X11 OLED panel with 1.5K (2688 × 1216) resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, 0.96mm bezels, up to 5,000nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The brand collaborated with BOE to equip the device with a 16MP under-display selfie camera, as well as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Other display features include an independent G1 display chip, up to 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP main rear camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter.
It runs Android 17-based RedMagic OS 12 out of the box.
Colors available are Deuterium Transparent Night, Deuterium Transparent Silver Wing, and Deuterium Transparent Ice Blue.
Additional highlights include 700Hz shoulder triggers, dual 1115E linear speakers, three microphones, an X-axis linear motor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an IR blaster, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
